Dawn Yin is a choral conductor and educator who believes firmly in the transformative power of music and choral singing. Over the course of her career, Dawn has developed a distinctive pedagogy that cultivates an appreciation and sensitivity towards music through a multidisciplinary approach, with inspiration from various disciplines such as theatre, dance, and literary appreciation.

Dawn’s choirs have performed well in local and overseas choral festivals. Most recently, Dawn led the Eunoia Junior College Choir in the Singapore International Choral Festival 2024 to emerge as category winners as well as Grand Prix finalists. For her notable direction of both Eunoia Junior College and National Junior College Choirs, she was also awarded the Jury Prize for Conductor.

Dawn’s mission is to empower students to discover and develop their own voice. Guided by this mission, her students have come to appreciate music-making in a choir as a means of self-expression that develops character and spirit.
