ONE Chamber Choir was founded in 2009 by Lim Ai Hooi, and comprises choral enthusiasts with rich choral performing experience.
ONE Chamber Choir, under the baton of Ms. Lim Ai Hooi, is a dynamic young adult choir established in 2009. Comprising 45 passionate singers with rich choral experience, the choir has achieved numerous accolades on the international stage. Highlights include winning the Chamber Choir category at the Andrea O. Veneracion International Choral Festival (2013) in the Philippines and becoming Champion of the Mixed Chamber category at the 2018 World Choir Games in Tshwane, South Africa. The choir has also earned top honors at the Laurea Mundi Budapest (2016), secured a 2nd Prize at the 15th International Chamber Choir Competition Marktoberdorf (2017) and a Grand Prix finalist at the International Choral Competition Gallus Maribor (2025).
Performing at prestigious venues around the world, ONE has delighted audiences at the UNESCO World Heritage site Mosteiro dos Jerónimos in Lisbon in 2012, the National Centre for Performing Arts (Beijing) in 2024 and most recently, at the Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music in Poland. Their collaborations with celebrated maestros like Werner Pfaff, Māris Sirmais, and André van der Merwe have further expanded their repertoire, showcasing their versatility and commitment to artistic excellence.
Believing in the power of choral music to connect, inspire, and forge communities, the choir strives to create meaningful shared experiences in every performance. Singing goes beyond a performance - it is a means of honouring shared humanity, creating meaningful experiences, and fostering deep connections between both singers and the audience.

7byONE is an original series of choral concerts produced by ONE Chamber Choir, intended to explore the human journey through the five senses, intuition, and above all, joy. Eight iterations of the concert have been presented since the choir's inception in 2009.
Most recently at 7byONE: id/ID held on 15 August 2026, the choir collaborated with Graphic Artist Virginia Goh, who drew live digital art while the choir performed.

Since 2014, ONE has presented four concerts under this series, bringing to Singapore Maestro André van der Merwe (South Africa), Maestro Werner Pfaff (Germany), and Maestro Māris Sirmais (Latvia), delighting audiences with unique and exciting choral repertoire.
