ONE Chamber Choir was founded in 2009 by Lim Ai Hooi, and comprises choral enthusiasts with rich choral performing experience.
At ONE Chamber Choir, we believe in the transformative power of choral music to touch hearts and bring communities together. Established in June 2009 as a young adult choir under the baton of Ms Lim Ai Hooi, the choir's mission is to challenge the norms of conventional choral delivery, bringing a new dimension to choral music.
On the international stage, the choir has clinched various awards over the years, including Champion of the World Choir Games in the Mixed Chamber Choir category. It has also brought renowned overseas clinicians to Singapore, such as Maestro Werner Pfaff from Germany, Maestro Māris Sirmais from Latvia, and Maestro André van der Merwe from South Africa.
For ONE Chamber Choir, singing goes beyond a performance — it is a means of honouring shared humanity, creating meaningful experiences, and fostering deep connections between both singers and the audience.

Enriching Singapore's choral scene
7byONE is an original series of choral concerts produced by ONE Chamber Choir, intended to engage the five senses and tickle the 6th sense with surprises to achieve the 7th sense of joy. Seven iterations of the concert have been presented since the choir's inception in 2009. In this series, the choir has collaborated with local artists such as dancer Elaine Chai and illustrator Christina Yap, to bring different art forms together to create unique experiences for the audience.
ONE with ____ is a concert series exploring new genres of music with renowned international clinicians.
